SUMMARY:Islington 50th Anniversary Family Ride
DESCRIPTION:Two gentle loops “beating the bounds” of the borough\, each of about 12km\, join us for one or both.  Please note if you’re joining us for both\, you need to sign up twice. \nLoop 1 to the south\, starting at Highbury Fields at 10:30 and riding a loop to the south of the borough\, returning to Highbury Fields for 12:00\, where there will be a stall and children’s games \nLoop 2 is a more a little-legs friendly loop to the north of the borough\, through parks\, starting from Highbury Fields at 12:30. \nWe shall arrive back at Highbury Fields at approx 14:00 for some 50th Birthday cake and (bring your own) picnic.  We’ll also provide soft drinks. \nNo unaccompanied under-16s and please pump up your tyres before you ride. \nhttps://lcc.org.uk/events/islington-50th-anniversary-family-ride/

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday 28th February for a community bike ride around Dartmouth Park. This ride is organised by local families\, Patch and Camden Cyclists and calls for greater safety measures for walking\, wheeling\, and cycling in the area. It’s a fun\, family-friendly event with a relaxed pace and a short and easy route\, perfect for young children and new cyclists of any age. \n Meeting Point: Navigator Square (by Archway Tube\, in front of the Archway Tavern)\n Time: Gather at 11:00 AM for a departure at 11:45 AM.\n Duration & Route: A gentle 30-40 minute ride through neighbourhood streets\, finishing at Parliament Hill Farmers’ Market\n 10:30 am onwards\, Dr Bike will be on hand to offer a free service for your bike. They can take a look at your brakes\, tyres\, gears and general road-worthiness. \nThis marshalled ride will focus on local streets\, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Expect a fun\, social atmosphere with plenty of marshals supporting the group.
